Athena Calderone's First Furniture Collection
Athena Calderone introduced her first furniture collection through Studio Athena Calderone, in collaboration with The Future Perfect, where the collection is sold exclusively.
For the launch, ROWDE developed the creative direction and motion visuals for two films, each presenting the collection within a distinct environment.
The first was filmed at Athena's home alongside David Alhadeff, founder of The Future Perfect. Set within the space that informs much of Athena's creative practice, the film introduces the collection and the ideas behind its creation.
At The Future Perfect Gallery
The second film moves the collection into The Future Perfect's New York gallery, placing the pieces within an entirely different architectural setting.
Away from the familiarity of Athena's home, the gallery offers another way of experiencing the collection, allowing its forms, materials, and relationships to the surrounding space to take on a different character.
